Oakland volunteers say city government didn't help street cleanup

Members of the Urban Compassion Project said they had to spend thousands of dollars and at least eight hours picking trash on East 12th Street on Sunday when the City of Oakland failed to deliver on resources it had previously committed to the cleanup project.
