
Saks Fifth Avenue closing in San Francisco, new retailers set to help revive Union Square
Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco's Union Square is closing for good in two weeks. The company says the decision is part of its long-term growth plan. Despite the losses, the Union Square Alliance says new retailers are on the way, including a Nintendo store opening in May, and Zara plans to open a four-story flagship store next year.
