Questions over leadership at Santa Clara County Jail

The Blue Ribbon Commission requested by Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith after the death of a mentally ill inmate allegedly at the hands of three guards, has called into question Smith’s own leadership as head of the county jail.
