Santa Clara Co. awaits court decision that could withhold $1.7B in federal funding

Santa Clara County is bracing for what could be a turning point in the immigration debate. On Friday the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of appeals is expected to rule on a preliminary injunction request filed to block the Trump administration from withholding federal funds from 'sanctuary cities'.
