House passes Kate's Law as part of illegal immigration crackdown

The House passed a measure Thursday that would stiffen punishments for people who re-enter the U.S. illegally. The bill is named Kate's Law after a woman was killed by a man who'd been deported from the U.S. five times along SF's Embarcadero.
