Bear Creek fire in Santa Cruz mountains claims four homes, injures six firefighters
Cal Fire crews are battling the Bear Fire in the Santa Cruz mountains for a second day on Wednesday, as the fire has burned four homes, scarred 270 acres and injured six firefighters - the last injury was a second-degree burn to a hand. First a little good news-- the weather seems to be cooperating with firefighters with cooler temperatures and fog and the fire was 10 percent contained as of Wednesday morning.
