Ocean Cleanup Project seeks to reduce Great Pacific Garbage Patch in half

The Ocean Cleanup Project is set to launch this Saturday with the goal of cleaning up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch by 50 percent in five years. CEO and founder Boyan Slat is in Alameda where the "trash collector" is being built.
