Oakland chef wins on Food Network’s ‘Chopped’

A local chef was just crowned the latest champion of the Food Network's popular show, 'Chopped.' KTVU's Jana Katsuyama reports Chef Rashad Armstead was the owner of popular barbecue popup, Crave BBQ and opened a restaurant called Grammies Down Home Cooking. He never dreamed of this latest opportunity, which led to victory.
