Man shot by SFPD in critical condition, may be paralyzed

The mother of a man who was shot by San Francisco police on Saturday says he may be paralyzed, is in critical condition and that there must have another option for shooting her 26-year-old son who had recently been homeless. Police say the man attacked an officer with a bottle and was a hot prowl burglary suspect.
