San Francisco teen launches fundraiser for the city's seniors and homeless

Kiran Echavarria, 15, started a fundraising campaign to buy supplies like toothpaste, deodorant and food for the St. Frances Living Room in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. Through Echavarria's care packages, they're able to take care of the elderly and homeless. Echavarria is on week 3, and has raised over $1,000 so far. COVID-19 kept him from his summer internship, so he decided to create his own.
