Hayward police shoot and kill robbery suspect

Hayward police say they shot and killed a robbery suspect at a Motel 6 on Tuesday. Chief Toney Chaplin says the suspects are connected to a string of street robberies. Police admit they shot at a moving vehicle, which goes against protocol. A gun was found in the suspect Volvo, but there's no indication the weapon was fired.
