Social media shows link to rise in anti-Asian sentiment

New research from a UCSF professor of epidemiology finds that use of the some anti-Chinese hashtags on Twitter by former President Trump immediately ignited a flurry of anti-Asian sentiment. The professor hopes the study prompts people to think carefully about the words they use to describe any disease.
