Sports fans behaving badly: discussion on civility and consequences

Fans are the lifeblood of sports, but the strained relationship between those passionate about their team and the athletes has come into focus recently. Dr. Shaun Fletcher, professor of public relations and sports communication at San Jose State, says the behavior is indicative of the growing lack of civility in society and that harsher consequences for such behavior are a necessary deterrent.
