Storm could bring 8 inches of rain, winds gusts of 50 mph

An extremely powerful storm could dump anywhere from 2inches of rain to 8 or more inches in coastal hill areas around the region. Gusts of wind of 50 mph are possible. There are concerns this may lead to flooding, debris flows, power outages and other hazards.
