One family from the East Bay is grateful for the care they are receiving for their 3-year-old daughter at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. Tim Fitzgerald and Lokelani Montero said their daughter, Leia, was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis one year ago.
For years, KTVU FOX 2 has worked with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital on this global day of charitable giving and generosity.

This year, KTVU's Cristina Rendon met an East Bay family and a 3-year-old girl who is on a path to recovery after receiving life-changing treatment at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. Tim Fitzgerald and Lokelani Montero said their daughter, Leia, was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis one year ago.
