Account Executive (two available positions)
We are searching for an experienced Multimedia Account Executive. As part of our total compensation benefits package we offer comprehensive medical plans, three weeks’ vacation, 401k, and tuition reimbursement just to name a few.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow existing client list by utilizing our market leading FOX stations, digital properties, and industry leading OTT platform to create impactful marketing campaigns for advertising partners.
- Develop a consistent stream of new business and manage the entire sales cycle in order to achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Gain key insight on client goals and objectives in order to make presentation and recommendations to successfully achieve them with all of our offerings.
- Responsible for selling sponsorships that may include promotions initiated by sales persons.
- Ability to create impactful multi-platform advertising campaigns that include KTVU/KTVU+, KTVU’s digital offerings, and OTT.

Minimum Requirements:
Media sales or other outside sales experience preferred.
- Ability to create, present, and sell through opportunities to Clients and Advertising agencies.
- Experience with Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Kantar applications a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs including Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective time management, communication, and problem-solving skills required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating in Master Control, the Technical Operations Center, and Ingest.
- Master Control automation experience a must with an emphasis on switching live sports.
- Ensuring compliance with FCC regulations related to closed captioning, EAS, transmitters, text-to-speech, and the CALM Act.
- Live news experience is also a must to include tuning in live shots via microwave, satellite, and bonded cellular.
- Other duties include commercial and program ingest and segmentation as well as quality control of on-air signal.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts that may include nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Other duties as deemed appropriate and necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to work under tight timelines and high stress while maintaining an exceptional on-air product.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to properly communicate issues to the Maintenance Engineers and supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The producer is required to select content, write and copy edit stories, assemble stories into a rundown, book guests, and create graphics and visuals to complement the presentation of material for the on-air broadcast and digital platforms.
- The producer must be able to write news copy clearly, in broadcast style, for on-air, online, and other digital platforms.
- Must be able to assemble news material in a logical and organized fashion and present finished stories in a professional and engaging manner for viewers/readers to be able to comprehend the latest local, national and international news.
- Strong writing and producing skills are essential.
- Ability to contribute ideas on a daily basis and to recognize what types of stories would make for interesting and compelling television and online content.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced quickly changing environment and react in live situations to cover breaking news, etc.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with peers and supervisors and to develop contacts outside the building to aid in newsgathering.
- The producer must be enterprising and self-motivated and be able to work independently to develop newscast or assigned production.
- Requires a thorough understanding of all journalistic standards and broadcast production techniques used to create visual and compelling on-air and online content.

The News Operations Manager oversees the technical and logistical aspects of a cutting-edge, multi-platform local TV newsroom in the San Francisco Bay Area, while working collaboratively with engineering and tech services. They will demonstrate exceptional leadership to ensure the seamless execution of multiple, simultaneous live newscasts, special productions on location, streaming channels, and dynamic social media content. - Oversee all aspects of technical operations, ensuring seamless execution of live newscasts, location-based special productions, and streaming content across multiple platforms.
