Redwood City fire considered suspicious

A Redwood City fire is being considered suspicious.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Fire crews in Redwood City are conducting an investigation into an early Tuesday morning blaze that they consider suspicious.

The fire broke out at approximately 4 a.m. on Whipple Avenue, near El Camino Real.

Authorities have not yet provided specific details as to why they consider the fire suspicious, but they did mention that they believe the building was unoccupied or abandoned.
