One person hospitalized following Oakland shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland police are investigating a shooting on 19th Avenue near East 12th Street that injured one person.

Police responded to the scene, which is located just off I-880 in the San Antonio neighborhood, around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators are still searching for the shooter, and there's no word on what led up to the shooting.
