Prescribed burn planned for Point Reyes National Seashore

POINT REYES, Calif. - A prescribed burn in the Point Reyes National Seashore is scheduled Friday.

The burn will be conducted near the Cypress Tree Tunnel between the Lighthouse and Visitor’s Center. 

Marin County Fire said residents near the beaches and in west Marin County may see smoke, but they should not be concerned unless they see flames.
