Santa Clara police render suspicious device in park as safe

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara police issued an all clear on Friday just before noon after they sent a bomb squad into a park and cleraed what they thought was a suspicous device.
Police did not say what the device was.
At 9:50 a.m., police had asked three schools near Bowers Park to shelter in place because of their proximity to the park.
