Cannabis fans will have an opportunity to celebrate in San Francisco after all; the city announced that its annual 420 event in Golden Gate Park would be canceled this year due to budget cuts, but the cannabis community had another idea in mind.

New California laws will protect workers who use marijuana off-the-job

Gov. Newsom signed two bills into law related to cannabis use. One prevents employers from asking job applicants about their past marijuana use. Another law prohibits employers from discriminating against employees for cannabis use, off the job and away from work.
