The loved ones are rallying around a 22-year-old Calistoga woman who is fighting for her life after being struck by a police vehicle. They also have questions about how this crash happened on a residential street while the victim was in the crosswalk, and it was still light outside. A spokesman for the city of Calistoga says the police sergeant responsible is on leave with pay as standard procedure. The CHP is investigating the crash but there's no word yet on what caused the crash. A friend has started an online fundraiser to help the victim and her family.
