4.1-magnitude quake shakes South Lake Tahoe
DOLLAR POINT, Calif. - A 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook the South Lake Tahoe area on Friday morning.
The USGS reported the quake hit at 8:25 a.m. at Dollar Point, nine miles from Incline Village.
With a magnitude of 4.1 and very shallow depth, this quake could produce light shaking around the epicenter but damage to structures is not expected, according to the USGS.
