5 injured in San Francisco shooting

SFPD says data from 2018 to 2019 shows that crime is down.

Five people were injured in a shooting in San Francisco on Saturday night.

The shooting happened in the Tenderloin neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. near Eddy and Taylor streets.

The wounded people suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to city police. 

Officers collected firearms at the scene of the violence, the SFPD said.

Police have not explained what events preceded the shooting or said if any arrests have been made.
