Distinctive bronze statues, a Dodge truck and other items were taken in three thefts last week from a home in unincorporated Martinez, officials with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said today.

Deputies responded at 9:10 p.m. July 15 to a home in the 5000 block of Alhambra Valley Road where the burglaries occurred.

Deputies responded again the next day at 1 p.m. to another burglary and then at 8 p.m. the same day a 1995 Dodge 3500 extended cab truck was stolen from the driveway of the home,

Besides the truck, burglars took an 8-foot tri-colored, bronze Marc Anthony statue, an 8.5-foot tall, tri-colored, bronze Cleopatra statue and a 4-foot tall, bronze Lady Justice statue.

The burglars also took two bronze tiger statues, three bronze drinking pitchers, whiskey decanters, a mink-like coat and a tile saw, sheriff's officials said.

Deputies have not finished totally the dollar amount of the loss, Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
