Arraignment Tuesday for 3 people accused of killing Millbrae man

Three people who are accused of killing a Millbrae man, and leaving his body along a freeway are due in court Tuesday.

Keith Green, 27, was first reported missing by his roommate on April 28. Investigators said hikers found his cell phone in Golden Gate Park the next day, and his body on May 11, along Highway 101 in Sonoma County, near Healdsburg.

Authorities arrested Kaveh Bayat, 29, his girlfriend, Tiffany Li, 30, and Olivier Adella, 40.

The three were booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City, and are scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Bond was not issued for the suspects.

Police said Green did not return home, after he met with Li at the Millbrae Pancake House. Investigators said Li was Green's ex-girlfriend, and the mother of his two children.

Detectives served two search warrants last week. On Friday afternoon, detectives searched Adella's home in the 1800 block of Trousdale Drive in Burlingame. Li and Bayat were taken into custody on May 21, after San Mateo SWAT officers raided a home in Hillsborough at 4 a.m.

"They're both being charged with the action and working together," said Zuno.

The sheriff's office did not provide a motive for the killing.

"Yes, we do know the cause of death, but because it's still an on-going investigation, we can't release those details. What I can tell you is that the body was not manipulated," said Sheriff's spokesman Salvador Zuno.
Zuno would not elaborate on what he meant by Green's body not being manipulated, but said his body wasn't burned.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to call police at 650-259-2313.
