Contra Costa County Sheriff investigating homicide in Pacheco

PACHECO, Calif. (KTVU/BCN) - The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in Pacheco on Friday afternoon.

One person, described only as male, has died, the sheriff's office posted on social media at about 2 p.m.

No information was released on what led to the death.

Pacheco Boulevard was closed in both directions between Center Avenue and Second Avenue for the investigation.
