Dognapper snatches service dog in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO - Authorities are searching for a service dog that was stolen in San Francisco on Monday.
The San Francisco Police Department said the 5-year-old German Shepherd named Summer, was stolen around 7:43 p.m. at Waller and Octavia streets.
Police said the suspect grabbed Summer's harness and fled southbound on Octavia towards Market Street.
Summer is a certified service dog and microchipped.
