Fatality involving Pittsburg police under investigation by District Attorney
PITTSBURG, Calif. (BCN) - The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office is investigating a fatality involving a Pittsburg police officer this evening, according to Deputy District Attorney Barry Grove.
The incident was reported around 3:45 p.m. in the 4200 block of Hillview Drive, a residential area.
Grove did not specify whether the victim was a suspect, or if a firearm was discharged.
Pittsburg police were not immediately available for comment.
