High surf advisory along Bay Area coast through Tuesday afternoon
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - A high surf advisory will begin Sunday morning along the Bay Area coast.
The National Weather Service says the surf could be as high as 18 feet. The advisory begins at 10:00 a.m. and it's expected to continue through Tuesday afternoon.
The weather service is warning the waves can be unpredictable and erratic, with strong rip currents.
