Man kicks dog at Duboce Park, link to video
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - A minor incident between dogs turned aggressive at Duboce Park last night when a man kicked a dog, Hoodline reports.
A witness reported on Nextdoor that the incident occurred around 6 p.m. when a few dogs got in a scuffle. This witness, Kelly P., also uploaded a video, which can be seen here. Warning: it has graphic language.
The owners pulled the dogs apart, but one of the dog owners (the man in the blue checkered shirt and baseball hat) grabbed someone else's black lab by the collar and pulled it away.
The lab's owner and other witnesses tried to release the dog and as the man walked away, he kicked the dog.
One witness said, "This guy was clearly unhinged and assaulted the dog, his owner, and another man who had nothing to do with the incident".
The man can be seen leaving the scene before police arrived.
A representative of the San Francisco Police Department confirmed the incident and said it is still under investigation. The man could face animal cruelty charges.
