Memorial bench honors memory of Kate Steinle

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - A memorial is now in place where 32-year-old Kate Steinle was shot and killed in San Francisco.

A bench is dedicated to her on Pier 14. 

In July, Steinle was walking with her father when a bullet struck her in the back. 

On the bench, a plaque has a quote from Steinle that reads, "Whatever is good for your soul, do that."

Earlier this month, her alleged killer, Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez pleaded not guilty to her murder.
