Police standoff in W. Oakland ends with 2 robbery suspects in custody
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Police say two robbery suspects are in custody after a standoff at 33rd and Market streets in West Oakland that lasted about three hours.
At one point, officers moved in and grabbed a man from a yellow car that had its windows shattered. The man inside had refused to come out.
The suspect was eventually taken away on a gurney to receive medical attention.
Police say that no shots were fired and that the two male suspects were being sought in connection with a robbery on Broadway this afternoon.
