SF camp counselor arrested for child molestation
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - A San Francisco camp counselor was arrested for child molestation charges and sending harmful material to a minor.
According to San Francisco police, 24-year-old Evin “Devin” Blanchard obtained and sent sexually explicit images and videos to the victims through online social media.
Blanchard also inappropriately touched the victims during several field trips, according to San Francisco police.
Blanchard was taken into custody Sept. 15 in Phoenix, Arizona.
He will remain in custody pending his extradition to San Francisco. When he arrives in San Francisco he will be booked on child molestation and child pornography charges.
