South Korea: North fires surface-to-ship missiles
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement that North Korea fired several projectiles off its east coast on Thursday.
The statement says the projectiles were believed to be surface-to-ship missiles. It said the launch was made from the North's eastern coastal town of Wonsan.
It gave no further details.
