Teen stands guard for deputy in Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Harris County Deputy Constable Tommi Jones Kelley walked over to the car and told the woman inside she had an amazing son.
Now the whole world knows.
After she posted it on Facebook, the photo Kelley snapped of herself and the amazing young man who provided her backup while she pumped gas early Thursday morning has gone viral in the wake of last weekend's slaying of Kelley's fellow deputy, Darren Goforth, who was shot dead from behind while refueling his patrol car.
Mckinley Zoellner told Kelley he wanted to make sure the same didn't happen to her.
