Truck hauling trailer overturns on Dumbarton Bridge
NEWARK, Calif. (KTVU) - An overturned truck hauling a trailer on the eastbound lanes of the Dumbbarton Bridge is causing a severe traffic alert in Newark, according to California Highway Patrol.
CA-84's right lanes are blocked at the mid-span after the accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes and to avoid the area.
Crews hope to have the lanes open around 4:30. The trailer and truck are now upright. No injuries were reported, according to the CHP.
