Wife enlists flight crew's help to tell husband she's pregnant

A Tampa woman enlisted the help of a flight crew out of Tampa International Airport to share the news with her husband that she was pregnant.

Audrey Rose found out she was pregnant just before she and her husband were going to board a flight from Tampa to Chicago and she wanted to surprise him with the news.

Rose said once she boarded the flight, she slipped the flight attendant a note asking them help her with the epic pregnancy announcement. "I just found out that I'm pregnant and I really want to surprise my husband! I was hoping you could announce it before takeoff," she wrote.

She also wrote that if they don't have time, she completely understands, but if they could give her a cue, she'd have a camera ready.

Rose said the flight attendant gave her the thumbs-up after they got seated and, before she knew it, the pilot shared the exciting news with the entire flight -- including her husband, David, who was seated next to her.

"David and Audrey Rose have apparently smuggled an extra passenger on today," the pilot is heard on the video saying. Rose's husband quickly looks up from his iPad, perplexed. "What?" he asks.

"Audrey has recently discovered that she is with child," the pilot says as her husband keeps asking, "What? What?"

Passengers around them are laughing and clapping, and telling him it'll be OK.

The couple, who have one daughter, are expecting this surprise bundle in May.
