SFPD investigating possible kidnapping.

San Francisco police are investigating the kidnapping of a 4-year-old girl. Officials say they are looking for the juvenile and a female suspect.

Officials said on Tuesday, SFPD officers responded to the 1100 block of Mission Street at 7th, at around 1:30 a.m., regarding the report of a possible kidnapping. Police said they met with the little girl's father. Investigators determined the child, Fatima Abuzahra, was taken without her father's knowledge or consent by a relative, Enas Birawi.

The girl was last seen near the 600 block of Eddy Street in the Tenderloin. Police said it is possible Birawi stays at a hotel in that area. Police said Birawi was accompanied by her 8-year-old son during the incident.

Fatima is described as 4'2" tall, 50 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink pajama sweater and tan pants. The little girl is considered at-risk due to her age.

Birawi is described as a 30-year-old woman, 5'1" tall and weighs around 200 lbs. She has brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray pants. She was seen carrying a burgundy suitcase. Her son was wearing a red sweatshirt and black pants.

Police released a photo of the three of them with the little girl riding on the luggage as Birawi pulled it along the sidewalk.
