Small earthquake hits near Concord
(KTVU and wire report) - A magnitude 2.7 earthquake was reported about one mile northwest of Concord at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday.
While small, it was felt and heard at least as far away as Oakland, according to reactions posted on social media.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The USGS reported the earthquake struck just east of Buchanan Field.
